On the 19th of January on his one month birthday I got to meet Benjamin and his mommy and daddy, Michelle and Jean-Claude in their home for a newborn lifestyle session. I LOVE this kind of photoshoot. Surrounded by your own things in your own home the session takes on a completely different dynamic. And for a newborn session I love the context it gives. When our kids are all grown and we have moved home or our homes have changed through renovations or whatever, I think having images that capture what it was like at that moment in time when you brought your precious newborn home is going to be all the more meaningful.
The love in this home was tangible. Benjamin took all of 30 seconds to have me wrapped around his little finger. And that hair! Oh the cuteness! He is such a blessing to his parents and they are besotted with him. These images are a beautiful reflection of this love. It shines through so brightly.
